Hey, everyone! Glad you've dropped in today! Several things to share…hmmmm…what first??? How about…a fun baby card…
What do you think? Not too shabby for a 'made from scratch' kind of card? I only have one baby themed set to my name and I was wanting to try something different, so I looked around on the internet at some boat images, sketched up a little template, found some sweet patterns, and…there she be…all ready for sailin'! I really wanted to have a name on the boat…'Sunny Daze'…but I tried it a couple different ways with the computer and kept ending up with, well…just computer generated words on a paper boat. Didn't really want that, so I just left it off. I thought it all made up into a happy little card anyway, though. Alrighty then…moving on to…Festive Friday, shall we???
There's your inspiration for the new challenge. Now, I don't own much in the way of edible treat-themed stamps either, so I went with the little holly sprigs and the warm, spicy colors…
…used my little Lawn Fawn deer and had fun dressing him up. I also tried some embossing paste with a stencil. Now that was easy folks! And kinda fun for something different! You'll find more inspiration at the blog if you care to join in the fun of creating Christmas cards all year round with us. The rest of the team ALWAYS does such a nice job of inspiring us…I'm so proud to be a part of them! Finally, I have a peek of my Precious Remembrance card using the 'Coffee Love' set…
…you'll find it over at the PR blog today if you care to visit!
Well, I think I'll let you get on with your Friday! Hope this weekend holds some good creative fun for you! And maybe some blue skies and warm spring breezes…yeah, RIGHT, huh? I hear we have another winter storm heading our way, so I think we might be bundled up inside again this weekend!
Take care, my friends!!!
And thank you so much for your visit today!

Hey, everyone! Nice to be back today (It's been awhile!) with a fresh FUSION challenge...
Now those colors have never been my pick, but I was forced to put them together once before and was pleasantly surprised at the results, so I enjoyed them this time around! And I did just stick with the colors/photo inspiration this time...no sketch for me (but you should see what some of the team has done with that sketch!!!)…
Used my PTI Doodlie-do set and put the main colors in my big bloom. Then allowed some pretty golden stripes (inspired by the bag) to serve as the background…
And I guess that's about all there is to say about it! EXCEPT that the team has SO much more inspiration...lovely, LOVELY inspiration for you at the FUSION blog to help get you inspired and ready for this new challenge! You'll find winners of the previous challenge at the blog today, too! So...I say...git on over there and git ta craftin'!!!
And...thanks so much for stopping in!

Hello, my friends! Boy...I thought I'd just be celebrating away with Papertrey this week, but...not so! It's turned out to be such a busy week...barely getting the 'have to' list done, let alone the 'want to' list. Oh well...I did enjoy putting a card together for Fusion's new challenge that starts today...
I never pass up an excuse to use a pretty butterfly...and that photo inspiration has reminded me that winter won't last forever after all...
I even used the sketch a little, although I was pretty loosey-goosey with it. While I was playing around with my design, I couldn't get that circular focal point off to the right out of my head. Then it only seemed natural to draw my stamping out to mimic the border across the middle. And I guess that's about where that whole sketch plan ended...it DID inspire me though...
I likey! That's all some old stuff you're lookin' at, but...it worked for me!;) We'd love it if you played along with us this week or next...you've got plenty of time! You'll find all the details at the Fusion blog, and more inspiration from my talented teammates! Enjoy, and we hope you'll join us!
Thanks so much for your visit!

Hello, everyone! So glad you could stop in this weekend. I may have a few more posts than usual in the next few days. As you know, PTI has begun their anniversary festivities with lots of fun challenges and prizes to be won, so...heck yeah, I'll play!!! If you don't care to comment on these extra posts, I certainly understand! I know everyone is busy and there's a lot going on out there in blog land...I'm not doing such a hot job of keeping up myself. I was able to combine several into one today, though. First of all a sketch/color combo challenge from PTI. There were lots to choose from, here are the two I chose...
I used the new Doodle-Do set and colored my image with pencils...then used my water brush, which does change the colors a bit...
I used the new Doodle-Do set and colored my image with pencils...then used my water brush, which does change the colors a bit...
Everything looks much softer, which is fine with me, and the red took on a pink cast, so I added the pink dot instead of red. Can't help it...it just looked better, and I needed a pretty card for my brand new daughter-in- law. Couldn't resist using a doily for my circular image in the sketch...
I added the same flower in a couple corners of the card, in Pure Poppy this time, and after stamping it off once, to keep it soft. It has a bit of a tropical feel, which was what I was going for since they are currently stationed in, of all places, Hawaii. (poor souls)
OK...I'd better get this moving...the next one was a struggle from beginning to end. The challenge of the seven supply card done in 17 minutes...YIKES...not for me. Totally pitched the first one, and am only posting this one because I want to have a chance at the prize!;) It was done in 17 minutes and 8 seconds...although I'm gonna blame that 8 second overage on trying to use the very last inches of dimensional foam tape on my roll...it slowed me down people!!!
(I don't think this card will be going to anyone.) I used 1, the Friends 'til the End set, 2, H.Burst ink, 3, S. Shadow ink, 4, patterned paper, 5, Rustic W. cardstock, 6, jewel, 7, scissor to fussy cut.
Thank goodness that's over!
Finally...if you follow Festive Friday, we started a new challenge a week ago...
Here's what I did with this challenge...
There's still a week to join in if you'd like to head over to the blog for details and more inspiration. I'm not overly proud of this card, for some reason the whole thing was a struggle...but the rest of the team really has some gorgeous inspiration...I think some of the best we've had yet!!!
Thanks again for stopping in! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hey everyone! Dyane has a sweet new set in the shop at Precious remembrance. You'll want to use it for the coffee lovers in your life...
...you can see I've done some paper piecing here with some warm cozy patterns and colors...
I love that sentiment at the bottom...I can see lots of uses for that one! And I had fun with the inside, too...
I created a little pocket for a gift card on the inside by first trimming down a small glassine bag for the base of the pocket. Then I cut the leftover piece of doily from the front of the card in half, and adhered those two pieces to the front of the bag. I used the same little borders and the circular image from the front of the card for some coordinated embellishing on my pocket. The little 'enjoy' is from the set, too! See??? Lots of fun! One lucky visitor on the hop today will win one of these sweet 'Coffee Love' sets! Be sure to visit the PR blog to let Dyane and the other designers know what you think by Sunday. The winner will be announced there! If you got here from the hop, you've come from Deanna Dean's blog and I'm last on the list, so thanks so much for joining us! If you'd like to start from the top, just hop on over to the Precious Remembrance blog and get started there! So happy you could stop by!
