This one will take us through the rest of the year...along with an open DT call...more excitement!!! Then the new team and regular challenges will be up and running every two weeks to start off 2014. Feel free to create for the challenge, or, if you love the challenge as much as I do, you'll want to check the blog for details of applying for the DT...that's a separate process.
Now...I found myself in a bit of a pickle for this challenge, as I had forgotten that I'd loaned my Christmas stamps and cartridges to a friend, thinking I was done with most of my Christmas creating. Crafty time is on short supply around here, and the Festive Friday blog had wrapped up it's final challenge, so I passed my things along to someone else with a little more time on her hands and a mission to get her cards done. Went downstairs at the last minute to whip something up for this re-opening challenge and thought,..."Oh...my golly...I don't have much to work with!" So I did the best I could with what I had (Hero Arts wreath, PTI impression plate and die and a misc. sentiment), and used the photo for my inspiration...
I just know the new year will settle my schedule down, (It has to...can't keep this pace up for much longer!) and I'll be ready for a fun...new...creative year with FUSION!!!
Be sure to check the rest of the DT's creations for more inspiration! They are all as excited as I am to be back! Thanks so much for stopping in, and have a great day!!!

You wouldn't know you didn't feel like you had anything to work with, because it looks so perfect! I like how you offset the wreath - I never remember to do that, and it always looks so cool. This is gorgeous, friend!
ReplyDeleteIt's really, really beautiful, Geri! I love the clean and sparkly elegance of it! :o)
ReplyDeleteLove the tone on tone with the great textures from the embossing and the little pops of red from the gems! That die that the wreath is embossed on is so pretty too, unexpected and so elegant.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Geri!!!!! I'm done with my coarse so I can hop around and see all the gorgeous creations my friends are making!!!
ReplyDeleteso pleased Fusion is back - and your card is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMan wish I could think that fast on my feet. Even with my ridiculous stash I struggle with designs sometimes. This is another example of your awesome stamping and design skills. You rock girlfriend! I love your Fushion projects so I'm glad to see the challenge back. I know you're super busy but I hope you're enjoying the holidays. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWell my sweet friend you've pulled it out of the air perfectly!! Love the little red gems on your silver wreath, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm happy to see that fusion is back! And your card is lovely, Geri!
ReplyDeleteYou did wonders with your lack of supplies, Geri! Maybe that's a blessing in disguise?! So glad we're still together on the Fusion challenge!
ReplyDeleteWow, lack of supplies! Oh so pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteOH Gerri it is so simple pretty. I sometimes think "Less is Better". I need to get hustling, time just flies by. Enjoy a lovely weekend. Stay warm.
ReplyDelete...so, if someone comes and takes my crafting supplies away, will I then be able to create beautiful cards like this? If so, my door is open...come and get 'em!
ReplyDeleteYour creativity and talent really is endless....and resourceful! This is so beautifully clean and simple and way beyond stunning! I am mesmerized by the elegant simplicity of this card!
Geri, this is absolutely beautiful. I absolutely adore the silver wreath with the pop of red! Hope that you are having a relaxing weekend! xx

ReplyDeleteWhat a triumphant card!!! I have seen this lovely stamp around the block once or twice, however this card rings true so merrily and elegantly the peaceful grace of the season, love it!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGeri, this is beautiful! No one would ever guess that you didn't have a wealth of Christmas stamps on hand! The embossed wreath is beautiful and I love how you've stamped it off center! And those red rhinestones add just the right amount of color!
ReplyDeleteYou do a better job just "whipping something up" than a lot of us with a full shed full of supplies, Geri! This is really breathtaking!! It will be so fun to have Fusion back with its talented group of designers!! Hugs, Darnell
