Seeing stars...

Friday, June 21, 2013

Hey everyone!  Happy Friday to you all!  Seems like forever since I posted, and I know it has been forever since I visited many of you.  Please forgive me...I'm currently drowning under a sea of Vacation Bible School decorations and preparations...at least, that's what it feels like.  And I'll be the first to admit, I'm not all that joyful about it this year.  It has certainly become harder as my kids are older, busier and really ready to spend the free time they do have just enjoying summer, family and friends.  Like many of you, I have a hard time saying 'no' in many cases...but next year will have to be different...and knowing that it will, will get me through this year.

It's just about time to release a new set at Precious Remembrance so you'll find my final Little One project at the PR blog today...

It was inspired by this card I somehow managed to pull together for my hubby for Father's Day...

I love those rays from Sending Sunshine and I've wanted the dies and star images from the Super Stars set for quite some time.  I think I'll be using those LOTS!
Here's my crew on Father's Day...

Sure do love those critters!  Even that big gray-headed one!
I really appreciate your visit today!  I promise to get back to regular visiting as soon as I can!

Love the colors...your stamping is absolutely perfect! I would have been hyperventilating by the time I was stamping these images!

Sounds like you are a busy, busy lady right now! Thing to do is to remember this feeling next year when you are asked to volunteer for the same task!!!

Family is surely the biggest blessing given to all of us while we are here. Happy Summer - I will pray that your bible school decorations and class go smoothly and joyously!

  8. Gorgeous as always - I am also drawn to those sun rays, but don't know how much I would use them (then I see others do incredible things with them, to change my mind), and have also had the stars on my wishlist for some time.

Why is it that summer, which is supposed to be all relaxed and laid back, is always the busiest time of the year?!

  9. Love the family photo you've shared. Kids are growing and all those "yes" replies will be remembered and you'll miss all that was involved in summer fun.
Glad you take time to create, both cards are beauties. I use Stars a lot for my family too and I really like these images.
    Have a wonderful weekend.
