~for some berry special mothers~

Hope everyone is enjoying a special weekend with families!  My gals at the dentist's office requested some Mother's Day cards.  This first batch was made with my new Strawberry Patch images from Papertrey.  And I have to say...this set is SO much fun to play with!  The possibilities are endless with the sizes, layers and sentiments included (in two companion sets).  Anyway...I thoroughly enjoyed playing and creating...and I'll get right to the pix...I know you're all busy enjoying your weekend!...
Wasn't crazy about the green on this one...brightened it up on the rest...
A familiar layout from me...with part computer generated and part stamped sentiment...

This is a design by Ashley Cannon Newell that I liked...I just made a few minor changes...

These were actually my favorite...but they didn't sell...I used a computer generated sentiment on the front...

My mom is no longer living, so I sure had fun creating for these gals wanting to share some love with their moms!  I have a few more (on the 'not-so-fruity' side) to share...maybe tomorrow!  Enjoy your special weekend!!

  1. I can't believe no one bought the last ones - they're my faves too. But I love all of them, and I love how you sugared those strawberries!

Emma came with me to buy all our flowers today, and we picked up a strawberry plant to grow our own - she is so cute; she's so excited to watch it all grow and take care of it. What a girl...

Have a wonderful weekend; Happy Mother's Day to you!!

  2. I love them and can't believe the last two didnt sell! I bought the strawberry sentiments but not the images...kinda wish I had ..I have other strawberries and didnt think I needed them. I bought the die too and have not used it yet. lvoe love yours and happy mamma day to you

  3. Hi Geri,
I wanted to let you know that I nominated you for a Liebster Award because I love your blog.
    Thanks for all the loveliness!

  4. They're bee--you--tee--ful! :-) Really they are and I can't believe the last pair didn't sell. I think they're my favorites too.
Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day with your kiddies tomorrow! Hugs!

  5. What beautiful cards! I'm in agreement with everybody else: I can't believe the last ones didn't sell either! I love the stamp set you used. Very creative! Hope you have a blessed Mother's Day! {My sons surprised me by traveling the nearly 4 hours up to see me for Mother's Day. They could only stay the afternoon, but what a joy to see them!}

  6. You can leave as many comments as you like!! I love hearing from you! I could tell you were having troubles with your comments :) Hope you're having a wonderful week!

  7. Oh Geri! I love your strawberry cards - you are awesome in all your designs! Can't pick a favorite... they are all perfect!

  8. These are all beautiful and such wonderful rich colors. Like the many styles for one stamp set!

  9. I'm LOVING each and every one of these cards! They are truly wonderful and FULL of Spring charm!!!

  10. So sweet Geri!!!! I just love your cards sweetie!

  11. Adorable Geri! Those strawberries are so sweet and I love the layering. I think my favorite is the threaded detail woven around the "sweet" sentiment. Love it!
