~Festive Friday...Children's Theme~

Friday, August 16, 2013

Hello, all!  Thanks for stopping in today!  I have one lonely little card to share...but it's a happy one...

...for the new Festive Friday challenge to create a Christmas project with a children's theme...

Hmmm...I had to pull out the Cricut for this one...which is always kinda fun since I'm still in the learning stages.  My little sledder was from the Winter Frolic cartridge.  I will say that these smaller Cricut creations sure give my bifocals a workout!!!  (AND my little paper tweezers!) But he's a sweet little guy, and he was worth it!

So, if you're interested...head over to the Festive Friday blog for more inspiration!  Or better yet...get inspired, and then play along!  We have a wonderful guest designer with us...Amy Kolling!!!  I'm really interested to see what people come up with for this one...should be fun!  Maybe I'll see you there!!

  1. He's so cute! Love the arms in the air and the joyful expression and love the snowflakes in white on the background!

  2. I am trying to think of what I like best, because you always include so many little elements that tie everything together so perfectly! I really like the flakes stamped down the side like that - I never think to do that but it looks so great! And the little strip of candy cane above your sentiment just adds the perfect little 'something'. I love your little sledder too! I think it's going to be fun to see what people come up with for this one!

  6. I get so excited each time one of your posts pops up in my mailbox! I always know that a treasure waits at the end of the click! This is sooooooo stinkin' cute! Seriously fun. Got a good giggle over the bi-focals! I have now moved up to bi-focals WITH a pair of reading glasses as well. It's amazing how much you can see with two pairs of glasses on! I know I look like a total dork, but wowzers, things are just so nice and BIG!!!

  8. Oh yeah, it was worth it to dust off the old Cricut. :-) He's definitely having some winter fun and putting him in the photo frame is so clever Geri. Hugs!
