Hey, everyone! There's a new challenge up and waiting at the Festive Friday blog with this photo for your inspiration...

What a fun photo!  The colors look beautiful together, but I tend to give cards in a little more traditional color scheme.  So I went with the fun 'Joy to the World' banner on the wall.  That's probably one of my all time favorite carols anyway.

I had fun with this little guy from my Winter Frolic Cricut cartridge.  And while this card is not my usual style, it was a joy to make!

(I wish the photo did justice to the touches of glitter and his shiny gold wings.)
I probably didn't see all the DT members cards, but I did get a peek at Ardyth's and Kay's, and I'm tellin' ya...they're just beautiful!  If you've never visited the Festive Friday blog, you should...the rest of the gals are so talented!  And our faithful participants already have a healthy stack of Christmas cards ready to go!  We'd love to have you join us!
Thanks so much for popping in today!
You can find out about a give-away of a cute new set (going on until Sunday) HERE.
Better check that out!!!;)
Have a great weekend!

  3. I love that this is so different from the colours in the photo... That you went with a less obvious inspiration source. It's so fun to see how many different ways a photo can be seen! Anyway, love the watercolours accents and all the gold trim. It's beautiful!

  10. Oh, Geri, this is SO sweet! Such a fun AND elegant combo you have come up with! Love the sweet little angel. So clever how you have him nestled in the clouds. Really love the touches of gold and glitter, and the vellum sentiment banner is beautiful. The light wash of watercolor behind the clouds is the perfect finishing touch. Love it!
