More Sweetness for Festive Friday...

Friday, May 17, 2013

Hello, my crafty friends!  A little more sweetness for the second round of this challenge at Festive Friday...

I've always loved those sweet Mouse House stamps, and when I saw this one at Hobby Lobby...even though you all know I don't color much... I thought it would be perfect for this challenge...

And the good thing about these stamps for me is...these soft and cuddly little characters are very presentable just done in chalks, which is quick, easy and forgiving.  I might just have to pick up another to try!  The candy canes were done with my watercolor pencils and glittered {also pretty quick and easy}.  And I guess that's all I have to offer for today.  You really should see the rest of the "sweet" inspiration from the team...delightful, and so cheery this week!  And just a CLICK away!
I do hope you have a wonderful weekend, and am so thankful that you've stopped in today!

  2. I could NOT love this more, Geri! I am such a huge fan of the House Mouse images. They are sooooo sweet. I only have a couple myself, but they always melt my heart. Totally agree with you about the coloring. Absolutely fabulous with just a light wash of chalk pastels. Totally up my alley. And your design is perfect!

  3. Absolutely PRECIOUS Geri! I love the way you've colored them with the chalk. It's soft and perfect for the little mice. My SIL has a BIG collection of the Mouse House stamps, she would love this!!

  4. First of all, how do you tie such absolutely perfect bows? Honestly, you need to post a tutorial! I'd pay good money to learn your technique!

A beautifully soft presentation of this amazing stamp! Your choice of colors, the softly inked edges and the amazing ribbon create such a warm fuzzy feeling!

You have inspired me to pull out this label die that I purchased ages ago and have never used! Really, not even once!

  6. Love those mousies myself. The soft chalks work well, but my fave part is those glittery candy canes. I'm beginning to think I have a glitter fetish. LOL Hugs!
